In wrought aluminium processing—such as extrusion and rolling—OES is used to verify billet chemistry before processing, confirm composition prior to heat treatment, and perform final quality checks for export and OEM customers. Customers typically monitor magnesium and silicon for strength and formability, along with copper and zinc in higher-strength alloys.
